Follow the buzz on #UKSG1dayconf

Over the last few years there has been a focus throughout the scholarly communications sector on understanding the complexities of how research actually happens, to how funding decisions are made, how data is created and shared, how results are communicated, how researchers make information choices, and how these influence institutional policies.

UKSG’s 2014 One-Day Conference brings together speakers from across the knowledge community to help delegates understand the critical issues that shape what we all do.

  • What do funders, researchers, institutions and publishers expect and want from each other?
  • What are the key issues that we all need to be aware of?
  • How are researchers managing changing requirements around funding, evaluation, communication and more?
  • How are library and publisher roles evolving to ensure they continue to provide relevant support, content and services?

Who should attend

This event is aimed at librarians and publishers who want to better understand how the changes in scholarly communications are impacting on the wider research community.  It will be of particular benefit to librarians who are responsible for engaging with researchers and to publishers who want to know how the changing requirements of scholarly communication will impact on them.

Join us for enlightening presentations and valuable networking with those who are shaping the future of how research is managed and communicated.
