UKSG is hosting this free event to share ideas and new insights into delivering services in a diverse and demanding further education environment. This informal gathering will provide a platform for the FE community to share experiences and innovative ideas for delivering and resourcing library and information services in the further education sector.
Resourcing a rich and varied curriculum: content, knowledge and skills covers key areas and challenges in delivering and developing services to support a wide-ranging curriculum and diverse user group. The event will provide delegates with the opportunity to share tips, techniques and strategies that can be integrated into their own service and environment. Examples include: developing learning resources staff skills, overcoming the challenges of providing services to a diverse student base, the development and delivery of online support, developing student skills, and increasing the usage of electronic resources.
This event is FREE to FE institution delegates and includes refreshments and lunch, as well as a PRIZE DRAW for two fully expensed places at the UKSG 2017 Annual Conference in Harrogate next April!
