Out with the old and in with the new?:
how new technologies have led to innovation in FE Libraries
UKSG presents the fifth in their popular series of events focusing specifically on managing e-resources and new technologies in the Further Education sector.
This seminar will address how far new technologies and the development of e-resources have changed the way we deliver library services in FE and how we can continue to innovate in the sector.
During the day there will be opportunities to hear from practitioners within the sector about how they have introduced new ways of delivering high impact services and will facilitate discussions about the success of these innovations. The day will provide you with ideas on how you can also innovate at your own institution. Alongside your colleagues from other institutions, we will be hearing from some key vendors about the new resources and services that they are introducing. There will also be a small exhibition area which will give delegates the opportunity to meet with vendors who specialise in providing e-resources to the Further Education sector, as well as being a platform for discussion, problem solving and networking.
