As you prepare for the upcoming conference next week, we have put together a guide of things to do or know before you depart.
- Review Travel Information: Familiarise yourself with directions to the Brighton Centre and explore our local guide to Brighton here.
- Registration Details: Registration opens daily from Monday 31st March to Wednesday 2nd April at 08:00 in the Foyer via the seafront entrance. Don’t forget to pick up your admission badge upon arrival. A free cloakroom is available for delegates at the right hand side of the exhibition.
- Download Event App: Get the UKSG Events app for the full programme, chat to other delegates and access exclusive features like the Passport Game and Plenary Q&A. Download it before leaving for the conference – more details can be found here. Tip: Don’t forget to visit our short video guide to familiarise yourself with the app here.
- Download the Conference Programme: Access the full conference programme here. Tip: If you require a printed copy, please print the PDF copy before traveling as printed copies will be very limited this year to minimise paper waste. Please use the app above.
- Exhibition: Review the list of exhibitors and plan your visits; don’t forget to participate in the passport game for a chance to win a prize.
- Workshops: Workshops are included in the programme, no pre-booking required.
- Monday evening events: Attend the drinks reception from 17:30 to 18:30 in the exhibition hall. Later, join the supper and quiz evening at 19:00 in the Leonardo Royal Waterfront Hotel (pre-booked attendees only) Tip: Unsure if you booked? Check your booking confirmation for details.
- Tuesday evening Gala Reception: Registered delegates* are invited to enjoy the highlight of the conference: the gala reception and disco at PRYZM, just a 5-minute walk from the Brighton Centre. Drinks and canapes will be served as well as an evening full of entertainment. Additional details can be found here. Remember to bring your delegate badge for access and you are welcome to join at any time from 19:00 and stay until midnight, which gives you the flexibility to dine at a convenient time for you. Please be aware that dinner is not provided during the gala reception. Tip: Explore discounts on dining in the area here.
- Dietary Requirements: If you registered any special dietary needs, keep your diet ticket in your conference badge wallet – where special allergen catering staff will be able to assist and advise. Tip: Daily menus can be found in the catering area with QR codes for allergy information.
