Adam Matthew has launched a new resource, America in World War Two (WWII): Oral Histories and Personal Accounts. The new collection offers insight into how WWII changed American society and the economy, and its lasting impact on individuals and families.
Drawn from the National WWII Museum, New Orleans, and curated by Adam Matthew’s team of editors and academic advisors, the collection includes a range of primary sources, from photos and notebooks to personal accounts and artifacts. The collection includes hundreds of video recordings of individual testimonies, ranging from a veteran of the famous 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, to survivors of concentration camps and members of the Women’s Army Corps.
