EARLL launch event and CPD activities
Hannah Boroudjou and Claire Delahunty, winners of a UKSG 2019 Innovation Award for Librarians, have announced the launch of EARLL. Those interested are invited to a free CPD event at LSE Library on Friday 13 December 2019 to launch EARLL, a new network for early career academic and research librarians in London and the South East.
The organisers would like EARLL to be led by the needs of its members, and those attending the launch event can play a key role in helping to develop the network and create a cross-institutional community of peers to share knowledge and collectively develop skills as librarians in academic and research institutions.
The launch event will offer the chance to:
- meet and network with colleagues working in and around the London area
- contribute ideas and experience to shape the development and future direction of EARLL
- listen to an expert library professional discuss her research on emerging trends and key skills in academic librarianship
Am I early career?
EARLL is for everybody who considers themselves 'early career' regardless of how long they have been working in libraries or whether they have professional qualifications. Attendees from all over the country who may be interested will be welcome.
Register for the EARLL launch, tickets are limited so please book early.
