Thanks to everyone who has responded to let us know your wishes concerning the fees you have paid for the Brighton conference – we are working our way through them, and appreciate your patience at this time: as you can imagine there are a lot to process!
We are pleased that not everything was terrible news: we announced that we would be donating the food to a local homeless charity, but in fact were able to donate the food and napkins to the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership - they are coordinating the appeal on behalf of the 17 food banks in the city. (This will also cover the Antifreeze Trust who sadly had to go into lockdown immediately prior to delivery). The cups were sent to two Northamptonshire hospitals to assist workers there, and also to a food bank who is distributing the rest to local care homes.
We will be announcing the rescheduled virtual AGM shortly, and at that point will have more clarity on our finances and future plans to share with you and answer questions. In the meantime, please do feel free to contact bev@uksg.org
