Springer Nature has reached an understanding on a new transformative read and publish deal with swissuniversities. Both parties have signed a memorandum of understanding, and the final agreement will be concluded between Springer Nature and the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries this summer.
Once signed, the agreement will enable all corresponding authors affiliated with the Swiss academic and research institutions participating in the agreement to publish open access in Springer Nature’s portfolio of hybrid journals, making this primary research immediately and freely accessible from the point of publication. In addition, it will give researchers access to all published research on SpringerLink.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education
Springer Nature has agreed its first transformative read and publish deal within Asia, with the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in India.
Under the terms of the arrangement researchers affiliated with the Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, Manipal Academy of Higher Education and The T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) will all benefit from the ability to publish OA in Springer Nature’s portfolio of over 2,200 hybrid journals including the ADIS, AJ and Palgrave imprints. This deal also enables researches at the affiliated institutions to access all published research on SpringerLink. The agreement is currently in place until December 2022.
