UKSG eNews is read by thousands of people within UKSG member institutions every fortnight. UKSG is delighted to announce that Josh Sendall, University of Lancaster, will be joining Helle Lauridsen and replacing Leo Appleton as a co-editor.
Leo is moving on after five years working alongside Helle, who said, “As Leo's co-editor, I would like to thank him. Leo has been a great addition to the editorial team and excellent at sourcing interesting editorials from all sides of the academic library community. His final submission is a cracking editorial in this issue of UKSG eNews on the current situation seen from his perspective of a library director. It is well worth reading for us all — no matter our current situation. Thank you Leo, and may your new venture bring you lots of happiness. And welcome to the team, Josh, I do look forward to working with you.”
Andrew Barker, Chair of UKSG, said, “I am delighted that Josh has accepted the role of co-editor of UKSG eNews. He will bring his own perspective and network to the newsletter which is currently read by more than 2,000 individuals in our member institutions. Josh will be an asset, as he is here in Lancaster.”
More information about Josh can be found on the UKSG website.
