The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) has welcomed National and State Libraries Australia (NSLA) as they become the Coalition’s newest full member.
As the body representing Australia’s national, state and territory libraries, NSLA has had a collaborative digital preservation focus since 2011. Maintaining an active group of digital preservation practitioners representing each of its nine member libraries, NSLA engages in collaborative project work on matters of mutual concern and provides support to its members as a professional development network.
NSLA joins the Coalition as membership in Australasia grows following the launch of a new DPC office in Melbourne. As a DPC Member, NSLA also joins the newly formed Australasia Stakeholder Group, convened as part of the Coalition’s governance structure with the opening of the Melbourne office. Following its inaugural meeting in April, the Stakeholder Group will ensure that members in Australia, New Zealand and surrounding areas inform the development of the DPC’s programme in the region and have input to the broader strategic direction of the Coalition.
Any Australasian organisation which joins the DPC through the office in Melbourne, before 31 July 2020 may benefit from an additional 10% discount when taking out three-year membership.
