Innovative, a ProQuest company has received platinum awards for three products – Innovative Resource Sharing (INN-Reach), Mobile Worklists, and MyLibrary! – and a gold award for Polaris Leap from LibraryWorks’ seventh annual Modern Library Awards (MLAs). The MLAs are awarded to the top products and services in the industry, according to criteria including functionality, value, and customer service. This year, product submissions were sent to more than 80,000 librarians for scoring.

The Innovative products achieving platinum recognition are:
- Mobile Worklists – The first native mobile app to market for library staff, Mobile Worklists continues to provide an excellent utility for Sierra libraries. It gives library staff flexibility for material handling tasks whether they’re at the desk or in the stacks. For six consecutive years, Mobile Worklists has earned platinum status, this year with an overall score of 9.1 on a scale of 1 - 10. Judges lauded Mobile Worklists for the ability to let libraries go paper-free when paging and weeding.
- MyLibrary! – MyLibrary! is an iOS and Android mobile app that empowers patrons to connect with library resources anywhere, anytime. Earning an 8.9 overall score, judges gave high marks for functionality and quality of the product.
- Innovative Resource Sharing – Innovative Resource Sharing (INN-Reach) is an easy and cost-effective way for libraries to give patrons access to more materials and a better borrowing experience. Patrons love how easy it is to request materials and staff love the automated processing. Earning an overall score of 8.86, Innovative Resource Sharing scored above 9 for comparison to competitors’ similar products and received recognition for its longevity and reliability.
The Innovative product achieving gold recognition is:
- Polaris Leap – The Polaris Leap web interface can be used on a desktop, notebook, or tablet, freeing library staff to serve patrons with the power and functionality of the Polaris ILS from wherever it is most convenient – even outside the library walls. Polaris Leap offers the ultimate web-based staff experience, and most library staff can complete their work within the web interface. Judges expressed appreciation for product quality and the ability to customize Leap to suit specific workflows.
