45th Annual Conference - 28-30 March 2022
We are holding our event in person and online next March at the Scottish Exhibition Centre, where COP26 is currently being held. Sponsors are busy booking their exhibit booths and general exhibition bookings will open on December 9th 2021. If you would like to sponsor the conference and support UKSG, please email Chelsea Plunkett chelsea@contentonline.com who is handling our sponsorship sales. If you are interested in receiving an alert when the general exhibit bookings are opened, please email info@uksg.org.
The folk at the Scottish Exhibition Centre have put in place many safety procedures around COVID19 to keep the delegates in the building safe, and we are confident that by the time our conference comes up they will have gained a lot of experience. The rules in Scotland may change ahead of our conference, but their current guidelines are here. We will keep all delegates and visitors informed as we get closer to the event.
The packed programme is almost ready to be published - we will announce it and keep this page updated. There are still some gaps left intentionally open for Lightning Talks and we will issue a call for suggestions in the new year.
We are working on the digital version as we speak and hope to make it as full an experience as we can (it's like organising two distinct events to be honest!).
If this will be your first time in Glasgow and you would like to explore the surrounding (beautiful) countryside, take a look at the Highlands tourism page here.
See the next news item for details on our remaining 2021 events on open science (November) and trust (December) and I hope to see you at one of them!
