If you have reserved your place, please don't forget to bring your conference badge as it will act as your entry ticket. (The gala reception is included in the full conference/exhibitor/speaker package). The staff will be checking your dietary requirements during the canapé service, so please do bring your dietary voucher. Access to the event will be via the main entrance visible from Pacific Quay.
The evening

The conference gala reception promises an enjoyable and sociable evening, filled with drinks, canapes, and entertainment. Guest are encouraged to explore the museum exhibits which cover all three floors during the reception. Entertainment will be provided by skilled close-hand magicians, complemented by a performance from a delightful string quartet from the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This will then be followed at 9pm by the return of the traditional and much loved UKSG disco, offering a lively atmosphere for attendees to enjoy into the night. A cash bar will be available from 8pm for any additional drinks.

Access
The main entrance is fully accessible with level access from the street with a permanent ramp and wide automatic doors . Once inside the building, access to the other floors is available via lifts on both sides of the building; accessible facilities are also located on all floors. Quiet(er) space
We understand that not everyone enjoys a bustling and noisy atmosphere. Therefore, a quieter room has been designated on the ground floor for those who prefer a more relaxed environment conducive to quieter conversations or time out.

Parking
There are over 450 parking spaces at GSC including 28 disabled spaces. Tickets are issued at the entry barrier to our car park. The event hosts will validate these at the ticket desk so that your guests do not have to pay to park for the duration of your event. Vehicles are not permitted to be left overnight in the car park. There are 6 electric charging stations.
