EBSCO Information Services has announced that applications are now being accepted for the following awards:
- John Cotton Dana Award
- EBSCO Solar Grant
John Cotton Dana
The John Cotton Dana Award recognises library public relations campaigns. The award is provided in conjunction with the H W Wilson Foundation and the American Library Association. The award will provide eight $10,000 grants to academic, school or public libraries.
Applications for the 2020 John Cotton Dana Award are to be submitted electronically and received by 13 March 2020. More information can be found on the award page.
EBSCO Solar Grant
EBSCO is soliciting grant applications to give libraries the opportunity to 'go green' by funding solar installations through the 2020 EBSCO Solar grant programme. As part of the EBSCO Solar initiative, EBSCO will be making three $100,000 grants available to applicants from libraries around the world.
Interested libraries are encouraged to submit questions until 28 February 2020. Submissions are due by 1 May 2020, and the winner will be announced on 26 June 2020, both online and at the ALA-Annual Conference in Chicago, Illinois.
